Logan & Carla Douglas
Church Planter
Logan and Carla Douglas met in Mississippi and were married in 2016. Logan grew up in Mississippi and served on active duty in the Mississippi Army National Guard for almost 12 years, to include one deployment to Iraq. Carla grew up in Italy where her parents have served as missionaries for 32 years with the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board (IMB).
Logan previously served as the Young Adults Pastor at First Baptist Church of Ridgeland, MS and it was there that they were connected with an Icelandic pastor and his church. It became evident that there was a desperate need for disciple making churches in Iceland, and during a trip to Iceland, Logan clearly felt God’s calling for them to move to Iceland and serve as missionary church planters and partner with the Icelandic church in the spread of the Gospel.
Logan has experience is overseas missions and evangelism, inner city ministry, youth ministry and young adult ministry. He has a MA in Christian Ministry from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is an ordained pastor in the SBC. Carla lived for 18 years on the mission field in Italy and has experience with women’s ministry and children’s ministry.

Wade & Elva Lee
Church Planter
Wade and Elva Lee met at Mississippi State University, where they both attended school. In 2017 they got married in Iceland. Wade grew up in Alaska and Mississippi, playing basketball through college before serving in ministry. Elva grew up in Iceland until she was recruited to play soccer at MSU.
Wade has been in ministry for over 5 years, previously serving at First Baptist Church Calhoun City. Wade surrendered to ministry in tenth grade feeling a call to international missions. Wade has been serving locally until God opened the door to answer His call to share Christ's love and spread the Gospel in Iceland.
Wade has experience leading international mission trips, as well as student ministry, campus ministry, inner city ministry, and evangelism. Wade is in the process of finishing a graduate degree from Seminary and is an ordained pastor in the Southern Baptist Convention. Elva is from Iceland and lived her whole life there. She has been a part of local student ministry serving in different capacities.
